For as early as I can remember, I have always had an interest in numbers and I am constantly learning new ways in how to make money work with different strategies.
I clearly remember after our daughter was born investing in an RESP for her so that I could be prepared for her education. I would follow it year after year and be disappointed when I would see it would only make a 5% rate of return. After a few years I decided to cash it in and buy our first rental property. What a pivotal decision!
We still have that rental property as it averages a 25% rate of return. We were recently able to pull some equity out of that property to finance her education easily and then some. Since that time we have bought further rental properties and enjoyed watching them grow, and they will make a great retirement plan one day.
I love teaching and supporting individuals with investing in real estate so that they can gain more financial freedom to do the things they love, possibly retire early, or explore a new purpose in life.
